Maydor Makes range was born out of a vision to bring the bible to life for children through play. We wanted to create resources to teach the bible creatively to children as they learn through play. We are passionate about raising the next generation in the things of God while they are young and base the vision on this scripture Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it”.
We are just a husband and wife team making predominantly handmade or digitally drawn and designed products. We make a variety of items such as bible peg dolls, story spoons, play mats, games and puppets and more. We offer monthly puppet and peg doll subscriptions too so your children can look forward to receiving bible heroes of faith through the post each month.
There are so many things screaming for the attention of our children telling them who they should or could be and we need to be the louder voice telling them who Jesus says they are.

We absolutely love creating products for children and like we say these aren’t good ideas but we believe are ‘God ideas’ and therefore he gets all the glory. We are grateful for divine inspiration as we have huge vision and are always getting new ideas for makes.
I Naomi have always had a huge passion for children and have always worked with them and then started my teacher training degree at university when I became suddenly very unwell and had to leave university & lay my teaching dream down only a few months into being newly married , it’s been a tough 20 years since but I’m still believing for my full healing miracle because God is faithful and I know he is my healer.

The story of our huge beginnings.
When my husband lost his job during lockdown we started this small venture and our ideas and passion for it grew and it’s still 5 years on such an honour and privilege to see our products loved and used in church schools, churches and homes and even reached as far as Burkina Faso to missionaries !
My husband and I are both creative and he is very practically gifted too. I have taught myself to draw on procreate on the iPad too so as to make new play mat designs and other products. Making handmade products is a labour of love but we put our heart into every make and we take great pleasure in seeing them bless lives.
